New Credit Card Offers

The past few weeks have brought several new credit card offerings from some of the most recognized names in the industry. Capital One‘s new business card, “Spark”, has certainly sparked interest in business owners of all sizes.

With impressive perks, Capital One is definitely ahead of the curve in this particular sector. Also, Chase has a new rewards offer. If you’ve been shopping for a new credit card for your business or your family, here are a few of the latest players in the game – and before you assume it’s just another “same ole’, same ole'”, you might want to take a closer look

First Progress Secured Card Offer

The First Progress secured credit card is enjoying a new look, complete with new perks. As consumers who carry this secured credit card know, your good buying and payment habits are reported monthly to the credit bureaus. This means, of course, that you can quickly begin to see changes as your credit history is either established or on the way of being re-established. Your funds between $300 and $2,000 secure your account and also define your credit limits – and it’s FDIC protected.

Capital One Spark Miles Select

The Capital One Spark Miles Select for Business has small business owners reconsidering the cards they’re currently carrying. Business owners enjoy a 50% bonus on all the cash back earned every year. And – these same card holders earn 1% cash back on every purchase, every day. Yearly and/or quarterly summaries are available and easily downloaded on the Capital One site, which means you just might find yourself in your accountant’s good graces again. There’s also no annual fee, a 0% intro APR until May 2012 and no miles limitations, either.

Capital One Spark Classic

The Capital One Spark Classic offer has no annual fee – ever and it’s ideal for new businesses who are seeking to establish their reputations. This business credit card provides for automatic credit line increases, 1% cash back on all your purchases, $0 fraud liability and one of the more impressive offers that are part of the Spark family: request up to 25 additional employee cards at no additional cost. This is virtually unheard of with other offers, yet this is a standard feature for all the credit card offers in the Capital One Spark category. This Visa business credit card has an impressive APR, too. Apply online for an instant decision and the credit requirements might come as a pleasant surprise too, especially for new businesses.

Chase Freedom MasterCard

While the Freedom program isn’t new, the $200 bonus cash back is just in time for those expensive holidays. Here’s how it works – spend at least $500 during the first three months of your account and you’ll see a bonus $200 cash back credit on your statement. Want to see more reasons? How about rotating categories for even bigger savings? An additional 10% cash back when you shop through the Chase website, no annual fee and no worries about your rewards expiring, either. Quick note worth mentioning: this card offer doesn’t include a balance transfer option.

Capital One Spark Miles Business Card

Earning rewards miles has never been easier – or more pleasant. The award-winning customer service team at Capital One is just one of the bonuses card members enjoy. While you may never need to reach out to representatives, there’s something refreshing about knowing a team stands ready around the clock. Among other features of Capital One Spark Miles Business Card, you’ll earn 2 points for every dollar you spend, 1% cash back on all your purchases and the $59 annual fee is waived the first year. As far as limitations with your rewards, no worries there either. There are no limitations or deadlines – and you can redeem your miles for gift cards, airline tickets and much more. This handsome credit card is sure to save impressive bucks and is definitely worth your consideration.

So what’s next on the new credit card offers train? That remains to be seen, but it looks as though Capital One just raised the bar once again with its Spark cards. The First Progress offer is a fine way to take control of your finances and your credit score and the Chase offer sweetens the entire deal with the cash back bonus.
